Tides Calculator
This useful program was highly praised in an article in March 1999 Yachting
Monthly. Hans Pieper, the author asks that if you find the program useful you
make a small donation to the charity of your choice (RNLI?) and send him a
picture postcard!

Propellor Size Calculator - New version
This is a really nice spreadsheet originally submitted by John Eastell for

characteristics.

DOS Navigation program
Submitted by Philip Stevens. This very old but very useful DOS navigation
program was written in 1984 by a computer literate 2nd Mate (I do know his name)
- (he later became a senior person in a maritime satellite communications
company) - for use on containerships trading world wide and before the advent of
Windows. Used carefully it will do all you want in constructing course cards in
True North degrees and includes a course-card construction program (in degrees
True), a tide program, and a sunrise/sunset program.
