The Dinghy Rack

The Dinghy Park

Dinghy and Kayak Storage

Medina Mariners Association has a large fenced dinghy park just to the south of The Folly Inn, with access onto the concrete public slipway that allows launching in virtually all states of tide into the Medina River.  There are spaces for 240 dinghies at up to 6ft wide and 11ft long, including a trolly.  Within the dinghy park there is also an area of racking, which allows for the storage of inflatable dinghies, which can be stored vertically, and kayaks, which can be stored vertically or horizontally.  The racks are near to the slipway access. Concrete pathways provide access to the dinghies.

The surrounding hedges are trimmed regularly to keep the dinghy park in a tidy state, although members are required, as per the terms and conditions, to keep their plots tidy and weed free.

We strongly recommend that members make arrangements to secure their dinghies when stored in the park, and do not leave valuable equipment with their dinghies. All craft in the park must be clearly marked and identifable, and must display a current year dinghy park sticker on it.

Current charges for storage of dinghies and kayaks can be found here
