The MMA runs a number of events during the year, in addition to the regular Wednesday evening dinghy racing during the summer and the Friday night social meet at The Folly Inn.

Cruising rallies for larger yachts are organised to local destinations, often over a weekend.  These are generally done on an ad hoc basis at fairly short notice to try and time them with a reasonable spell of weather – not always easy! In conjunction with other members of Medina Combined Clubs, boat jumbles, quizzes and pub games evenings are organised, usually on an annual basis, with the pub games traditionally being held on Good Friday evening.

Marchwood Yacht Club members also visit the Folly on an annual basis and the MMA traditionally hosts a barbecue for them to which all of our members are welcome to attend.  

In addition, Newport Rowing Club hold an annual barbeque at their riverside premises to which our members are invited.
